According to a global survey, 57 of respondents state that technological factors are the most important external force impacting their organization within the next years. Importantly, regulatory concerns have risen to the second place in 2020. This is noteworthy as regulatory concerns have never finished above the fourth position in previous years. This is due to issues regarding privacy and data, in part as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, as many people are working remotely in 2020.
