In 2022, of the total newspapers in circulation in Canada, 67 percent were tabloid newspapers, and 30 percent were broadsheets. The study analyzing the Canadian newspaper industry also revealed that 75 percent of Canadian newspapers were English-language publications, and 23 percent were French.
