In 2021, French citizens expressed themselves over the importance of different sectors for the economy in France. The energy sector occupies first place with 89 percent of the votes, immediately followed by the power supply sector, with 88 percent. The foodservice sector and the textile industry earned 79 percent and 61 percent of the votes, respectively, positioning themselves as the least strategic sectors.
