While the environment is one of the major challenges humanity currently faces, it is also one of the topics debated in French political talks. Indeed, most French people think that the current government is not doing enough.
In 2021, around 3 out of 4 French people declare that the environmental issue will be important when looking at the next presidential candidate in 2022. Moreover, 28 percent of them consider the issue to be "very important."
