The data were collected from the "Panel de consumo alimentario", a study by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food included in the National Statistical Plan and prepared from data provided by the company Taylor Nelson Sofres SAU.
Fresh fruit consumption in Spain saw a significant decrease in 2024 in comparison to the previous years. That year, around *** billion kilograms of fresh fruit were consumed by Spanish households that year, down from roughly ****billion kilograms in 2020. The most consumed fruits in Spain are oranges.
