Because of the restrictions put in place during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, some events worldwide also took place in drive-in theatres and parking lots, with participants watching the performances from their cars. According to a December 2020 survey, most respondents in Quebec did not participate in drive-in events since the beginning of the health crisis. Overall, only percent of respondents claimed to have attended a drive-in event.
