When a wedding takes place, a wedding registry (also called bridal registry) may be opened for the guests, so that they can participate in the foundation of the couple's home by referring to their gift preferences. Yet, a study conducted in 2020 revealed: while the total amount set by the bride and groom for their wedding registry fluctuated between 2014 and 2020, it generally decreased. In 2014 it was almost euros, while the amount of the wedding list was euros in 2020.
