Regionally, North America featured the highest share of people connected to mobile internet services, with 85 percent of the population using such a connection. Meanwhile, Sub-Saharan Africa recorded the largest usage gap of any region, with this figure describing the share of the population who did not use a mobile internet service despite living in an area with mobile coverage.
