In a survey conducted in 2019 throughout Southeast Asia, ** percent of the surveyed merchants stated that they did not accept e-wallet payments as they did not understand the payment process. Comparatively, for the same survey ** percent of the surveyed merchants stated that they did not accept e-wallet payments as they had poor or slow internet connectivity at their shop.
