This statistic shows the opinion of the French on the abolition of the Schengen agreements between 2015 and 2018. From 2017, the proportion of French people in favor of the abolition of the Schengen agreements had decreased: if it was at ** percent in 2015, it fell to ** percent three years later.
The Schengen agreements provide for the gradual achievement of the free movement of people within the Schengen area, without control at the internal borders of this area.
