In 2021, the consumption value of food as well as non-food products in Italy are estimated to drop compared to 2020. In the first half of 2020, the consumption value of food experienced a significant increase compared to the previous year. More specifically, fresh products, fruit, and vegetables recorded an increase of **** percent. Similarly, the consumption of ambient food and frozen food grew by nearly **** percent in 2020, whereas it is projected to decrease in 2021.
