According to data gathered on August 20, 2020, 41 percent of TV shows available to watch on Netflix were released in the last year, and 31 percent of shows on the platform came out between 2017 and 2018. Netflix had the most recently released shows, with the exception of Apple TV+ which launched in November 2019 and features only its original content. Meanwhile, most of Amazon Prime Video's TV shows were older and had been released pre-2011.
