Roots and tubers made up the main item in Angola's agricultural production in the crop year 2019/2020. The crop group, which includes cassava, potatoes, and sweet potatoes, had a share of 51.2 percent of the total output. Fruits followed, accounting for roughly one-quarter of the agricultural production. In the same period, the agricultural production in Angola reached over 23 million metric tons.
