In 2020/2021, the total processed soya beans was roughly 1.46 million metric tons, of which approximately 85.5 percent was processed for oil and oil cake. The rest was segmented into seed and feed, and human consumption with roughly 12.8 and two percent, respectively. Furthermore, after 2011/2012, oil and oil cake are the main drivers of the total processed soy beans, while the volume for human consumption remained low amongst the three categories.
