Women in Latin America were more likely to express feelings of concern, sadness, and fear in association with the concept of climate change, when compared to men, according to a survey conducted in November 2019. When asked about how they felt upon hearing the term, ** percent of women surveyed across ** countries in Latin America said that they felt sadness, against ** percent of men. Meanwhile, feelings of pessimism and indifference were more common among men.
