Canada
FY 2006 to FY 2022
* All cases with at least one court event, which moves all or part of the case through the court process during the year (including initiated cases).
** A disposition is a court event that disposes part of or all of the civil case (for example, settlement, consent judgment and judgment). A case may have more than one type of disposition associated with it. In this table, "with disposition" indicates the disposition occurred in the reference fiscal year.
Values include data on civil court events and cases at both the superior and provincial-territorial court levels. Appeal courts, federal courts (for example, Tax Court of Canada) and the Supreme Court of Canada are not included.
The fiscal year runs from April 1 to March 31 each year.
