Latin America: attitudes after witnessing gender harassment 2020
In 2020, around 71 percent of respondents in Argentina said they would feel confident confronting a man who is harassing a woman in a public space. Meanwhile, 61 percent of respondents felt the same in Chile, Mexico and Peru. Additionally, in Argentina, the top three most important issues facing women and girls are related to some type of gender violence.
