According to a survey conducted in early 2018, over half of the respondents in Hong Kong regarded the suggestion of Hong Kong government in increasing the renewable energy's proportion in electricity fuel mix from *** percent to or **** percent as insufficient. A vast majority of Hong Kong consumers were willing to pay more to support the local renewable energy development.
