Between 2015 and 2024, the value of the pharmaceutical market in Poland showed an upward trend, reaching nearly ** billion zloty in 2024, an increase of ** percent compared to the previous year. Â
Revenue, sales and trade Â
The value of the Polish pharmaceutical market has grown, and revenues from pharmaceutical products have also risen steadily since 2005. Despite some fluctuations, the overall trend was constantly upwards and was reflected in a significant increase in sales. At the same time, it has been noticeable between 2015 and 2022 that both imports and exports in the pharmaceutical sector have increased. 
Pharmacies and drugstores  
The pharmaceuticals were mainly purchased in pharmacies or drugstores, although online pharmacies were also relevant. Nevertheless, the number of pharmacies in Poland recently fell, despite the growing pharmaceutical market. Most of the large drugstore chains also lost popularity, only the market leader, ** managed to increase its popularity. Â
