An online survey conducted in the United States in May 2020 found that adults most likely to watch the show were younger, with five percent of those aged 18 to 34 years old always tuning into the television award ceremony. Those in the age range 45-64 were the least engaged with the show, with 57 percent of respondents never watching the Emmys.
