Holiday homes are very popular in the French region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, ** percent of secondary residences are owned by foreign owners. In total, there are more than forty different nationalities represented among international holiday home owners. Two nationalities are particularly present, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, which represent more than half of second homes held by foreign residents.
