The closure of the HoReCa channel due to the outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic in Poland resulted in significant declines in cigarette and alcohol sales in March and April 2020. Dessert wines and milk liqueurs recorded the most significant declines. By contrast, rum and non-alcoholic beers achieved the highest increases in this period.
