According to a survey from April 2020, one fifth of the Finnish people were still planning to travel abroad during the summer time despite the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Eight percent of them had booked a trip abroad, and 12 percent were planning international travel in summer either by themselves or with the family.

However, around 17 percent of the respondents had already canceled their stay abroad or believed that the travel will be canceled, while 18 percent had no travel plans because of the COVID-19 situation.
