On May 3, 2020, the popular battle royal gaming app exceeded ** thousand daily active users in the Scandinavian country and peaked at * users on May 10. The first coronavirus case in Denmark was confirmed on February 27, 2020. Starting on March 11, the Danish government has implemented lockdown measures to curb spreading the coronavirus, including closures of stores, restaurants, and educational and cultural institutions, as well as gathering and travel restrictions.
