Summer holiday destinations in Denmark in 2020, by country
Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, many Danes would spend their summer vacation in Denmark. According to a survey from April 2020, 63 percent of the respondents stated that they would stay in Denmark over the summer, while five percent planned on visiting other Nordic countries. Furthermore, four percent were going to Germany, and nine percent elsewhere in Europe. On the other hand, 17 percent of the respondents were cancelling their plans for the summer.
