A survey from April 2020 showed that almost 91 percent of Russian mining and metals companies expected the production volume in those sectors to fully recover from the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) after 12 months. Opinions on change in volume of mining and metals production seemed to mostly agree on effects after the next three and six months. The majority of respondents believed that the production would not change considerably in those periods.
