Red Compartida ('Shared Network') is a wholesale mobile network currently being deployed in Mexico with the purpose of introducing competition on the market. In 2022, it generated over 4.3 billion Mexican pesos in revenue. As of May 2022, the network had reached more than 79 million people. When it launched in 2018, it had a penetration rate of 32 percent of the Mexican population and the deployment plan forecasts a coverage of over 92 percent of the population by 2024.
