Aftet the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the forecasts for smartphone and personal computing device shipment value in Europe changed significantly. Originally, smartphone shipments were expected to grow 6.4 percent in 2020 compared to 2019. However, the predictions in the revised forecast now indicate a decrease of 10 to 47 percent in smartphone shipment value in 2020.
