A recent poll shows that worldwide, the level of concern about the national-level coronavirus (COVID-19) situation is slightly higher among females than males. Around 44 percent of females reported being very or extremely concerned, whereas 40 percent of males reported feeling the same. This statistic shows the percentage of adults worldwide who were concerned about the COVID-19 situation in their country as of March 12, 2020, by gender.
