On December 7, 2021, a survey revealed that the habit of frequently washing one's hands to prevent the spread of the coronavirus seems not to be fully adopted within the French population. According to this survey, less than 60 percent of respondents declared to frequently wash their hands with soap or hydroalcoholic gel to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Even lower results were found amongst younger respondents.
