On December 7, 2021, a survey revealed that, within the pandemic context, greeting habits remain present in France. According to this survey, only 60 percent of respondents declared to not greet another person without shaking hands, or kissing, to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Even lower results were found amongst younger respondents. Among respondents aged 18 to 24 years, only 42 percent of them did not use physical contact when greeting someone
