Between 2018 and 2019, the number of short business trips taken by Italian travelers increased. In 2018, trips involving one to two overnight stays were roughly 13.1 million. In 2019, this figure rose to 13.3 million. Moreover, the number of same-day business trips also increased slightly between 2018 and 2019.
