The largest share of Russians who wanted their daughters to pursue a military career in the country was recorded among middle-aged adults from 35 to 44 years old, as 36 percent positively answered the question. Among the young population aged between 18 and 24 years, roughly 70 percent of respondents would not want their daughters to follow that professional path and join the country's armed forces.
