In 2019, just over ** percent of respondents taking part in this survey said to have gifted books, e-books or audio books in the last year. Books were especially popular as a gift among the younger respondents. Of the respondents aged between 35 and 49 years, ** percent had gifted this particular gift in the past 12 months.
