In 2019, the highest number of prisoners was between 41 and 60 years old, compared to 2009 when the majority belonged to the age group 22-30 years old. At the same time, in 2019 the number of juvenile prisoners decreased by approximately 40 percent compared to ten years ago, while the number of prisoners over 60 years old doubled.
