In 2018 and 2019, Italia Music Export funded a total of 21 live tours abroad. Most of the funded tours took place in Europe (14). Moreover, six live tours were organized between U.S. and Canada, and one was arranged in Asia. Launched in November 2017, Italia Music Export is a department of the Italian Society of Authors and Publishers. It supports and promotes abroad Italian musicians, authors, and professionals of the sector by providing funding and travel supports as well as organizing workshops, seminars, and networking activities.
