Survey participants responded to the question "Which of the following did you place bets on during the past 12 months? (either online or offline)"
Online wagering refers to electronically placing a bet via a mobile/smartphone, computer (e.g. PC or laptop), tablet (e.g. iPad), smart TV, internet telephone (e.g. VoIP), or by telephone call.
Percentages do not total 100% due to participation in multiple activities.

In a survey held in March 2019 regarding the wagering habits of people who placed an online bet in Australia, ** percent of respondents indicated that they had wagered on horse racing and just over ** percent had placed a sports bet. Betting on current affairs and eSports were the least popular forms of gambling amongst the respondents.
