In a 2020 survey of those who had received NHS mental health treatment in England, ** percent of respondents reported that the mental health services definitely involved a member of their family, or someone else close to them, as much as the patient liked. On the other hand, *** percent reported that their loved ones were not involved as much as they would have liked.
