The cannabis industry is relatively new to the United States. However, it has gained traction since the legalization of recreational marijuana in a rapidly increasing number of U.S. states. Not only is it legal to use and carry marijuana in these states, it is also often legal to grow. Although, there are usually limits to this when not commercial. According to the survey, in 2018, ** percent of respondents with less than a high school education would definitely or probably grow marijuana if it was legal to do so. In contrast, ** percent of those with a college degree or more would definitely or probably grow marijuana if it was legal.
