In 2018, ** percent of Danish women between 23 and 24 years of age had never been screened for cevical cancer. In comparison, this was the case for *** percent of the ** to 34-year-old respondents. For the older age groups, only a few percent had never underwent a cervical screening.
In Denmark, all women between 23 and 64 years are offered free cervical screenings every three or five years depending on their age.
