Roman Catholic is the most common religion affiliation in Nicaragua. In a survey carried out between October and December of 2020, around 45 percent of Nicaraguan respondents claimed to be of catholic faith, whereas the second most chosen religion was Evangelism, with over 34 percent of the people interviewed. Nearly 14 percent of respondents answered they didn't profess any religion at all.
