In a survey conducted in 2019 in New Zealand, the main reason for moving home for male respondents was related to social reasons. In comparison, just under ** percent of male respondents stated that moving to a better quality of home was the main reason for moving home. A better quality of home was regarded as, for example, a warmer home.
