The value of the total assets of Corporation Bank at the end of fiscal year 2020 amounted to approximately 2.3 trillion Indian rupees. The asset value at the bank had progressively been lowering each year, indicating a worrisome trend for the bank which has been struggling with bad loans and an inquiry by the Reserve Bank of India.
Founded in 1906, Corporation Bank was one of the oldest banks in India. It is headquartered in Mangaluru and was one of the 19 other nationalized banks in the country. In April 2020, it was merged into Union Bank of India.
