According to the results of a survey regarding cryptocurrencies and banking conducted at the beginning of 2019, one in two Italians (47 percent) admitted that they would not prefer if cash no longer existed. On the other hand, approximately one in four respondents (23 percent) admitted that they would prefer a cashless society. The remaining 30 percent of the respondent did not have a strong stance on the topic.
