Society 5.0 is a governmental proposal of a Japanese super-smart society. Society 5.0 represents the fourth industrial revolution, in which state-of-the-art technology and connectivity, such as Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and robots, will be highly integrated into every industry and social life in Japan.
