According to a survey conducted in March 2019, ** percent of male respondents and ** percent of female respondents in Japan stated that they can imagine "Society 5.0" will improve the quality of life. The original question was part of a survey on the public attitude towards science and technology focusing on Society 5.0. Society 5.0 is a governmental proposal of a Japanese super-smart society. Society 5.0 represents the fourth industrial revolution, in which state-of-the-art technology and connectivity, such as Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and robots, will be highly integrated into every industry and social life in Japan.
