According to a survey conducted in 2023 in Italy, it was discovered that among individuals purchasing gluten-free food, *** percent of male respondents reported being intolerant to gluten, while the percentage was slightly higher at *** percent among female respondents. Interestingly, when it came to those buying gluten-free products despite not having any intolerance, ** percent of males fell into this category, whereas the corresponding figure for females was **** percent.
