In spite of console gaming generating the largest revenues, consoles are only second most popular gaming devices amongst Mexicans, preceded by smartphones by a large margin.

The most popular mobile games genres in Mexico are casual/puzzle games, card games and action & adventure. In terms of spending, over three quarters of mobile gamers do not make in-game purchases.
