Original question: "How would you like to cooperate?"
Only respondents who previously answered "Yes" or "Rather yes" to the question whether they wanted to cooperate in helping those who have committed a crime to re-enter society.

In an opinion poll of 2018, ** percent of Japanese respondents who had previously expressed a willingness to personally help criminals to reintegrate into society answered that they would be willing to participate in volunteer work aimed at the prevention of second offenses. While almost ** percent expressed a willingness to donate money or commodities to rehabilitation facilities, only about ** percent of respondents wanted to directly meet the person in question to offer continuous advice and support.
