By the end of 2023, there were enterprises in Guangdong's Pearl River Delta focusing on the manufacture of communication equipment, computers and other electronic equipment, generating combined pre-tax profits of around * billion yuan. Adding Hong Kong and Macau, the Pearl River Delta is also called Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. This is one of the most economically active regions in China.
